Happy things

Also, Gooch and I went down to the bottom of 17 as the game ended Saturday, hoping for a victory lap and a handoff of the Jamaican flag to Jam.  Jam didn't make the lap as he was doing interviews on the court, but Angel did.  As the team approached us, Angel saw me with the PR flag draped over my shoulders and jumped up and hugged me, repeatedly saying "you da man."  I offered him the flag to do a lap so long as he brought it back for tourney use, but he took it, gave it a kiss and handed it back to me and told me to keep it and keep doing what we do.

Nice EMAW moment on a sad day.

1:40-1:42 - is that  :katpakhead: joining the storm?
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Happy thing:

No, about as opposite from this as can be.  It's a story for the eventual "welp, __________ got frank'd" thread.

It's really more of a "LOL, Trim's an bad person" story than anything hoops newsworthy, but ok.

Could certainly also use that PM but feel free to not PM if you do not consider me PM worthy or whatever. Now back to happy things:

Jamar's last shot. Oh man.

:D

Was kind of disappointed they didn't mention him as the all-time leader in fouls.  Such a treasured Jamar statistic.  Was shocked and pleased that he didn't register one in his final game at the OoD.    :emawkid:

Basically, I was mean to Sprads.

Yes, now back to happy things.

Gooch and I had dueling Jamaican flags going with EB in the exact opposite corner from us.

I found a really grainy vid of Pullen's shot too, but you can hardly see anything.

Hella classy by Ford to take the time out there.  (or at least I assume he did it for Jamar)

If he did he didn't need to.  Jamar made his FT and the subs were already at the table.

Yeah but he called time out to make the applause last longer, etc

It's Travis Ford. I guarantee he did not call that TO for Jamar's sake.

That is what I was thinking since there didn't appear to be any other purpose.

but it is Ford, after all.

I was at work today and randomly started thinking about the Arkansas lookalike thread.  Then I started thinking about Dlew putting that mspaint drawn face next to all the Arkansas dudes.  Standing there   at work, people giving me funny looks.

Then I come home and see the Drew lookalike thread, and notice that the dlew pic was on that two and that is what probably made it stick in my memory.
