Collins does not deserve to be a 2nd team AA over Pullen.

Why should Collins be a 2nd AA over Pullen?

Hmmm.... maybe because he's the floor general and leading scorer for the #1 team in the country?

Pullen is the floor general and leading scorer for the #9 team in the country. Plus everyone loves KSU. :dunno:

I'm aware of their stats. Would you trade Pullen for Collins? I would.

Well since Collins is a Senior and won't be back next year, No. OOoooooo... pwnd.

Trading Pullen for Collins wouldn't be that big of an upgrade...Probably affects each team one win or so.  Trading Colon for Aldrich would filp-flop KU and KSU.

I'll take the guy with back-to-back-to-back-to-back Big 12 titles and a national title.  Collins would average 20+ ppg for a team like K-State.

It's official, the Old Ben is back . . . the new Ben didn't last long, but it was fun.

So you're saying you would take Jake Pullen over Sherron Collins?

Do you realize how bad of an arguement this is? A player that rides the bench his whole career could achieve that.

Really am surprised at the regression Ben is taking today.

Jake Pullen hasn't played on teams surrounded by McD AA's and 5 star recruits the last 2 years.

I will give Self credit in putting the together the financial and management handling package that kept Collins in Lawrence for 4 years though.

Yes he has (Beasley, Walker, Judge, Kelly, etc.).

Collins plays different than Jake.  Comparisons like this are silly.  Especially given the difference in surrounding personnel, as Dax has pointed out.

You also have to take into account that he wouldn't be drawing as many fouls by forearming folks as he does under Bill.

K-State shoots more free throws than any other team in the country.

He's certainly in better shape.  Wouldn't mind that.

Walker and Beasley was one year.   What about last year Ben??  Where were the the McD AA's??

Now the list of McD AA's and Top 50's  that have played with Collins:

Let's see:

Darrell Arthur
Mario Chalmers
Brandon Rush
Julian Wright
Cole Aldrich
Marcus Morris
Markieff Morris
Travis Releford
Russell Robinson
Sasha Kuan
Darnell Jackson

I've missed a few I am sure.
