The 2000-01 Wooly win against #19 Iowa was pretty awesome for a young nicname. I remember being super pumped that we had actually beaten a ranked team.  Of course we went on to win just 3 conference games that season.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Probably the most pumped I got for a Wooly win was the one in South (North?) Dakota. Fist pumps galore on that night. :dunno:

That was Huggs' year, it was N. Dak St. , they actually had a helluva player in PG Woodside(I think he was just a SO then)

Harris had it goin from downtown that night :emawkid:

Nope, it was actually the @Wyoming game (Fred Peete!) I was thinking of. 04-05 season.

You probably could have said the 04-05 season, the game Fred Peete was awesome in, or that game against a team from the WAC or Mountain West or whatever 2nd tier western conference they're in this year and that probably would have cleared up any confusion.

Confusing entire states, unforgivable geographic offense.
