Sweet, I can't wait to spend $3000 on fights and hotel rooms around the busiest travel season of the year to one of the most expensive cities in the world and then have to sit in an airport for 36 hours cause the flights all get cancelled. So stoked.

Yeah, it will be miserable stranded in NEW YORK CITY!  There won't be anything to do and ALL the hotels will be booked.

Where should KatPak central be?  My vote is the W Union Square.

The Village.  Bet we can get a good write up in the Voice....also it's adjacent to Soho for ETP's shopping trip.

Do either of you NYC n00bs even know where Union Square is?  It's right there.  RIGHT THERE!  Plus, starwood points.

No, I do not. It was not on the list of must-see places for me.

Interesting side note.  There really is no such thing as Little Italy any more, and China town is actually full of Chinese people.

Love the super-secret/falsewall fake purse shops (although I was also nervous that we were about to be "shanghaied")

Duval street is like a damned circus of awesomeness.  I refuse to touch anything for fear of getting lead poisoning from a fake rolex but it's fun as hell anyway.

Chatting with a Pinstripe Bowl rep in the hotel lobby. Sounds like they have some big things planned.

NYC is a seething cess pool, the majority of the people are a holes, there's WAAAYYY too much traffic,  you're squeezed into a tiny apt for which you've paid far too much and there's no GD parking. Aside from that, I love the place - I affectionately refer to it as Satan's Nostril.
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

I love the people and don't drive while there.  NYC may be my favorite place in the world
