Guys, was sick last night.  Throat still all f'ed up. 

Anyway, during a bunch of booing in the second half, I held on what turns out a little too long to the booing and my throat didn't cooperate.  Right in mid boo it made my voice go partly out and made the voice is changing boo noise.  Everyone kinda looked around.  Kinda made me self boo conscious.

Tucks next door were very put out, but that was way before I boo'ed so hard that I brought on a second round of puberty.

Really? Is that what it comes down to?  I am all for Booing the bad calls and I will even support a well earned BS chant. but I cringe when I hear us booing a blatantly correct call.  The student section just needs to be louder and more consistent with their noise.

You don't earn the title "angriest fans" by being level headed, SPE_khat.

I was pretty angry last night and boo'd pretty hard.  So I think the 2 are exclusive to each other.

if you don't get dizzy and start to black out, you aren't booing correctly.

We absolutely should have booed more last night. How many times did moneyaggie travel? Very few boos. The only thing we booed to standard was the goal tending.

75-80% of those boos were correct in bad calls. 100% of those boos were just correct.

I feel like that vid of the 09-10 CTR is a great example of OOD at its best.  Booing is great, but it has to be matched with a fevered viciousness and volume throughout the game, especially when the team is struggling.  At times the onus is on the crowd to "will" the home team to success.  Crowds are best when they act to cause things to happen and are not purely reactory.  The place was a library for much of the game and the crowd was horrid particularly in the final minutes of the first half.  I feel it contributed significantly to the teams poor play in that slot of time.
