Who cares?

Are there people out there who don't think some athletes, especially baseball players aren't Republicans and trump supporters? What I find more significant and frankly hilarious is that every time something like this happens MAGA twitter goes nuts in propping the man/woman up as a mascot. Y'all are just as surprised as libs when someone shows trump the slightest bit of support. I couldn't imagine jizzing my pants the way y'all do when I hear about anyone being a progressive.

Suzuki did have a really productive year splitting time though but is still a 36 year old catcher.  Big year

Kurt was a 2nd rounder out of Cal st. Fullerton he has had a nice career but actually the last 3 years have been some of his best averaging 16 bombs a year in less than 300 AB.

This has to cause some athletes to stay away.  Part of me would want to experience the White House trip if I was in their shoes, but I would be concerned about Trump turning it into a circus.  The trip is seen as political support for the President at this point which is a shame, although both sides are certainly to blame for it.

I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened yet at a photo op type of thing.  Some person comes up to him all excited and of course drops a mythical "Sir" to stroke his ego a little bit.  "Sir, I just wanted to say......you're a huge bad person and you need to go away forever" all while shaking his hand and smiling the whole time.
