Super Smash Bros is incredibly confusing. I usually feel like I'm kicking tons of ass and then I lose every time. What do those percentages mean?

Like, I just remember playing OG Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat. By comparison, Super Smash Bros is incredibly complicated. But also so fun! I've been learning little by little.

You can change many of the settings in tons of different ways. Normally, the higher the percentage, the more damage you've taken. Big guys can usually take more damage than little guys. It's difficult to know when someone will be eliminated, though. You can get a huge hit on someone with 187% damage and be like, "surely, that got 'em," and then nope.

Tips for those that are new to smash bros, learn to parry. Parrying will make you seem like a god among men, you parry correctly and you sort of stun your enemy temporarily for a few free hits or go into a combo starter.

Also learning how to charge attacks and time perfectly. You will get better the more often you choose a character. I also recommend getting a real controller as the joycon's suck and lack control.

Yes, we had the SNES reissue and Street Fighter was much easier to understand.

Finally beat world 7 on Super Mario 3 on the switch. 8 is a cakewalk by comparison. Trying to beat it for the first time without warp whistles

Just beat the Halo 2 Anniversary Edition campaign on legendary for the first time in forever. What a game. Defined a generation and still probably my favorite game OAT.

Unreal it came out 16 years ago. My mom let me skip school to go buy it and play the day it came out. I was STK Ogre level good.

Rocket League is free to play and the best sports/car game ever. Thats why it grabs and grips so hard

I haven't played among us, but I've watched streams of it and it looks fun. I could see it being really great if everyone knew each other instead of randoms.
