I have played about that much too, but so far I don't like the story or any of the characters in it. I hope it gets better.

It’s turned the corner, and is fun now. The graphics and world are insanely good. I am bagging perfect pelts like a pro. My secret? Bought the Springfield and upgraded all parts of it, especially the site. Then, I pickout my prey using binoculars, and I now only shoot at three star animals...no one or twos for me. I am the Kurtis Townsend of wild animal picker outers.

I keep accidentally shooting or assaulting people in valentine with button mispresses though and have paid like a grand in bond so far.

I'm also so hilariously bad at dueling, it takes like 5 tries for me to pass the checkpoints

Greg's red dead pro tips.
Break all of the gang members out of blackwater/whereever they are.
Do Micahs mission arc to get new weapons/areas quickly.
When hunting be patient and don't rush as this is a waste of time and resources.
Loot everything and i mean everything, it doesn't effect honor. (Only if you are caught)
INVEST IN YOUR HORSE AS IT MAKES LIFE FAR EASIER FOR YOU.(Bigger Saddlebags are a must!)

I'm not very far, and it will take me awhile to get through this game. But where do I sell rings and watches in Valentine? None of the vendors will buy them from me.

You have to find a fence, they buy all that crap and sell some of the more questionablely legal items like lock breakers and stuff. I know one is in st Denis, and there's another that you get sent to on a mission I think and don't remember where it is.

RDR2 is a really fun game so far.

Does anyone else absolutely hate the selector wheel thing and also how you select guns/cycle between them? Does it get easier the more you play and have you got a feel for using it quickly?

I shot a legendary grizzly in one of those early missions like 6 times with the rifle. Went back to my horse for some beans or whatever and thought I changed to shotgun. When the grizzly charged me I drew my rough ridin' bow and arrow.

the other day i was screwing around in some town. hopped a fence and start punching some sheep right in the middle of town. heh. take that stupid sheep!

I really enjoyed the drama of stabbing a legendary grizzly to death. Was really ready for the death screen to pop up.

Also, apparently the game changes the controller’s LED color to red... really though my controller was broken or something

I helped him too, but didn’t kill him.

Another dude I helped saw me in Valentine outside of the gun store and offered to buy me anything I wanted from the store! That’s how I got my Springfield super early in the game.
