Just picked up a Wii U on Craigslist. It'll play all the Wii games. Tried it out last night with Mario Cart 8 and I think the kids will have fun with that once I get a few more controllers. Also came with ZombiU, Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed 3, and Bayonetta 2? I'll probably try to resell those.

Now I just need to buy several years' worth of those Just Dance games and a couple of the motion remotes. Dad is swinging for the fences this year.

I probably need to manage my expectations a bit, but best Mother's Day Gift Ever? Maybe. I'm going to wrap up the remotes and games (dance stuff, not Bayonetta) and have the kids give it to her with a card inviting her to the dance. Then I'll be all like "guys, I'm sorry, but we don't have a Wii... oh wait, we do?!" (I'm going to act very surprised by this). Followed by hours of wholesome family entertainment and praise about what an amazing gift this is.

I sold my 360 when I was homeless. I miss that thing. Rocking xbox1 life now. I do miss the 360 though.
