We lost because of turnovers, angel, and gip. I’d listen to blaming Sprads as well. I suppose listing angel and gip after turnovers is duplicitous. I’d also throw in missed opportunities, but they basically coincide with turnovers. For example, we throw a baseball pass to Rodney who’s going to go in for an easy 2, but he can’t hold on to it. We’re up 7, jamar (I think or it might have been Jo) misses an easy layup, Baylor gets it in transition and hits Whitey for a 3, cutting it to 4. Down 1 with 58 seconds left, instead of gip making a simple bounce pass to jamar, he takes 7 steps. Also, we were almost at the one/one mark at the 10/11 minute mark and we can’t do anything with that. We looked like last year’s team when it was in a funk (i.e. when Jake wasn’t going batcrap crazy offensively). Always finding a way to keep the other team around and/or lose it down the stretch. Beyond frustrating. I’d have traded A Brown dropping that interception for a McGruds’ 3 ball as the clock expired last night.
