the real question is what in the world is ku doing to try and compete with kstate.

no one knows who ted williams was beems.

High school kids know that kstate has a bunch of new shiny stuff and they are lining up to go there.  more so than ku.

oscar just silverbacked Bill on National TV for christ sakes.

KU is like Old shawnee town these days

the first place to name a chicken wing sauce after Nathan Powers wins in all of this. maybe it's so hot it'll make you go blind?

Are you referencing the caller on 810 yesterday saying he had this happen to him (chicken wing) and he is now blind in one eye?  If so, great post.

oh, I most definitely am, WildcatNkilt.

I'm not 100% certain the collective plan of K-State fans was to violently attack Bill Self and pin him up against a table. Perhaps it was just an unfortunate thing that happened and next time the security will create a better barrier. I dunno, either that or ISIS

is it that beems is not very intelligent or that he is mentally unwell?

Oh, boy.  Here come the personal attacks.
i just want to better understand the isis comparos.

I said you're the "ISIS of Big 12 fanbases" because you guys unify around a collective hatred of all things KU and made national headlines by getting violent with KU's players and coaches on Monday.  No other Big 12 fanbase goes to those extremes.

I don't know that people really hate KU.  Now, the segment of the fan base that never attended the school and claims it as their own and talks down to other people....yeah, I hate those people.

Look at the apathy with which KU's players stood around, obviously inviting controversy instead of thinking of the safety of themselves and their teammates. It's honestly shameful that they would be so flippant about something as important as safety.

Can one of the mods please copy all of Beem's posts from the past 60 hours and put them in one thread (in order) and then lock that thread? I'd just like to see all of the hypocrisy that would be dripping out of that thread.

Beems comes into this thread trying to prove this isn't a rivalry. Goes on to illustrate exactly why this is a rivalry. Our recent basketball success against KU is driving him to literal insanity.

I don't think you know what the word "hypocrisy" means.  If you want to see true hypocrisy, take a look at the fanbase that got incredibly butthurt after Jim Mora gave Snyder a quick handshake and had the audacity to criticize him for calling a chickensh!t timeout and having his players bum-rush the UCLA o-line one last time before the end of the game.

Yeah, I'm insane because I've called out a bunch of idiots who are supporting violence against KU's players and coaches.  Recent basketball success?  You are 5-49 vs. KU in the last 54 games and have only won a total of 4 times on your own homecourt.

I havent found the best place to mention it yet, but I went to a game of soccer in Florence Italy between Florence and Sienna. The entire time the whole crowd, including children, chanted, "Sienna, Sienna, Vafanculo!" over and over. That translates to, "Sienna Sienna eff you!" It didn't bother anyone there.

a period of time close to the present to me, is roughly 13 months. so the cats have won 66.6666666% of the time recently.

They're not even close to the same.  K-State's behavior was way worse than Jim Mora's.  And my mental health is just fine, thanks.  I'll continue to call out your cult-like fanbase for being a bunch of losers.  If you want to see mental health problems, review the tape from Monday night's KU/KSU game.

We've had as much or more recent (do you understand that this word is relative?) success against KU as anyone in the conference. Yes, it's driving you crazy. You've acted objectively like a lunatic for the past two days. If I knew you, then I'd be legitimately concerned for your wellbeing. There was no violence against anyone from KU on Monday night. A kid thought it would be funny to bump into Jamari Traylor, to rub in the fact that he just lost to a terrible K-State team. If you wanted to commit a violent act, bumping into someone wouldn't be the method you would use. You know that.

The bolded comment is the type of thing a cult follower would say.  There were multiple acts of violence on Monday night.  Seek professional help.
