I usually just lay down and go down the wormhole of thinking about random stupid crap and going on weird tangents (similar to youtube wormholing) and then I'm awake for three hours for no reason.  4+ drinks seems to fix this.

i have a terrible time getting to sleep unless physically exhausted, leads to me being mentally tired quite often during the week.  once asleep though, boy i can snooze for HOURS.

i'm also much more of a night person.  i had a few months where i was unemployed, which pretty much lead me to developing what i would consider a more natural sleep pattern for me.  consisted of going to bed around 11am usually, and waking up around 8pm or so, it was fantastic.

I've never understood it.  I mean, do something that makes you tired.
What if that means drinking every night?

I work Evenings and I'm not going to school right now so why would I go to bed before 3am or get up before noon?

When I was at ole EMAW U I would go to sleep every night at about 4am, wake up at 8am to go to my 8:30, go to work until 1pm, take a nap until 4pm, go to my night class until about 9pm, then go to second work until about midnight. Then I would take from midnight until 4am to study/homework or do whatever I wanted.

I don't really do that anymore...

LOL, I'm going to dominate this thread.  While nicname was creating a thread about being an insomniac, I'd been reading old high school yearbooks for an hour.  If that doesn't say "weirdo that never goes to sleep" I don't know what does.

Carl Sagan's Cosmos was on Netflix a few months ago.  Check to see if it still is and watch it.  Sweet dreams, mother fuckers.

#team8hours with another solid performance last night. Took a break around 4 am to piss thanks to a wake up text from 8man about a tee time at 3 this afternoon  :dubious:

Two types of people who can't sleep: 1. can't sleep because they truly don't need it and 2. can't sleep because they are weird and need to do something during the day that causes them use more energy so they are sleepy at night.

The first type need to find a way to turn that into cash.  Work on something and get awesome at it.

The second type need more stress in their life.

I believe there is a third type that takes ambien and crashes their car into a fire hydrant while fleeing their supermodel swedish wife who is brandishing a golf club after discovering this third type of person was cheating. #TeamAmbien

Guys, ever since the WVU game I haven't been able to sleep for crap.  Mind just racing regarding BCS, polls, bowl trips........

After the NC I will need to hibernate for a week to get caught up.  :lynchmob:

Same here. All my life I've been able to fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. Not so much this year. Can't stop thinking about how great it'd be to run the opening kickoff back for a TD during our next game, then get a pick 6 two plays after that. And the NC gets me so fired up that my heart starts racing and I can't relax enough to fall asleep. December is going to be the longest month ever.

yeah I lay there thinking about all the ways the Cat's can score points defense ,special teams, long offensive strikes and the Cat's have been doing exactly what I think about but not all in the first minute of the game like I fantasize
