Couple people who directly influence my work got fired this week and I fired a third.  (Guess I got all caught up in the firing frenzy and had to get involved.)  Anyway-  I am now left covering the massive gap in productivity and I won't be receiving any tangible benefits any time soon.  Kinda wish I hadn't fired that other guy now. 

so do the kids who wont be getting any Christmas gifts.

I could take him being lazy as eff or an bad person but not both.  Dude had several warnings/chances and chose not to change.  Sucks to have to do it this close to Christmas but I just couldn't have that dirtbag dragging the outfit down any longer.

This is easily the most laid back time of the year for me. I love working in December and January.

Worst part is my assistant bitching about the dry cleaning runs because fancy parties every night.  Will be in a suit from tonight until 01/02/12

why do people insist on coming around and explaining to everyone why they have decided to take some time off work?  I don't care that you aren't going to be here because you have to watch your kid's kid.  I don't care that you feel like you need to spend some time with the family since the kids are out of school.  I don't care that you have time that is going to burn up if you don't use it.  it's like people feel bad about taking time off so they have to come and give their sob story to you to make you understand and not be mad at them.  there's a reason you have PTO, the reason is IDGAF GTFOOMF.

This^  Me and my business partner were trying to estimate our equivalent hourly rate the other day.  It's rough ridin' ridiculous.
