Any gE currently or formerly live in college hill in Wichita? I love the place and would like to buy a house there.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

My mom grew up there about a block North of the Methodist Church

I love it. It may be the perfect neighborhood

My grandparents moved from there to Crestview when I was ~10, but it was a great place in the 90’s IIRC

Just arranged to have all of the windows and doors replaced at our place.  Holy eff....do they make windows and doors out of gold?

I just got a couple of estimates for new windows in my crib.  One guy was $8400 and the other was $6200.  This is for only 11 windows.    :blindfold:

I can help you with this. DM me if you're still looking.

ok fine we'll stop joshing. here's the cliff's: it was a nightmare experience -- they were 2.5 hours late, and things got worse.  apparently they double booked their actual movers, so a ~25 year old man and his wife were the ones to move me.  kind of weird kicking your feet up and watching a lady haul crap out of my apartment, but not weird enough to stop kicking my feet up.  at one point, they asked me to help them when they tried to lower my couch down about 4 stories via a pully system (they couldn't figure out how else to get it down), but then had second thoughts because they weren't sure it was safe.  i didn't look at their website until halfway through the move to see whether they actually professed to be professional movers, which is when I noticed "OH, THAT'S what kingdom stands for."

on the bright side, they agreed to fix the hole they put in the wall of my old apartment, and we all shared a nice prayer in our dining room after the move was completed roughly 5 hours after it was scheduled to begin (i had very little to move).  they asked me to write them a good review and i politely declined.

why in the wide world of sports would you recommend these heathens to our friend wackycat?

We wouldn’t have let him go through with it!  It’s a pretty great story though, now that all of DLew’s stuff has been safely and spiritually moved

Changed the toilet handle/bar. The handle flushes much easier than the last. Now when I flush I push too hard and the bar flies up and hits the tank lid. Sounds like I won the sledgehammer Test You Strength game at the fair every time I go to the bathroom.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

Maybe you can find a happy medium between what you got now vs. what you had vis a vis where you're clipping the chain.

So with this eviction and extra $600 unemployment benefit running out in the next 2 weeks what do we think?  Buyers market coming soon?

KC has been red hot, I don’t see that changing in the near term. Don’t know about other areas.  I imagine Manhattan might be though.

I hired some guy to power wash and stain my deck. His employees appeared to be mostly meth addicts but who am I to judge, they did a bang up job. Checked him out on Facebook after hiring him.

I missed this - just incredible

Washing machine crapped out.

got a new one, when they pulled out the old noticed the sheetrock was damaged from a drip leak from the cold water intake that only happened when it was running.

completely un noticeable.  god damn it.
