70-30 Kansas State in the Stands?
« on: December 05, 2011, 06:38:07 PM »
My cousin works for the cowboys and he mentioned that Jerry is really happy Kansas State fell to the cotton bowl, something about SEC teams not buying tickets to games in Dallas. I think he was referring to the LSU Oregon game at the beginning of the year, lots of open seats on national televison made Jerry look bad.

You don't have to worry about that.  Fayetteville-Southwest will be very full for the game.  Sad, when Hog fans out number aTm fans, in their own state.

Has anyone adopted shoeless wes yet?

I'm thinking about headed down to Target and picking out a nice pair of shoes for the little guy!

At least they travel.  Quite contrary to KState fans, who during a wonderful season, failed to buy their allotment at 3 away games this year.

Yeah, we travel horribly.

Congrats!  A statistic from over 10 years ago.  Sounds a little bit like a Nebraska fan.

I'll go by the way your fans traveled this year, which was almost nonexistent.

I would ask for your stats, but I don't care. Nor should you.

Because let's be serious, there's no way ArKansas alumni or students can afford the gas, let alone the ticket to a bowl game.

Expect lots of Jos A Bank in the stands on the 6th folks; these ArKansas folks really know how to support their team, and look sharp doing it!

Won't find those statistics from me.  In fact, I don't think aTm and Mizzou are fully prepared for how long it will take them to be relevant in ANY sport (minus women's bball) in the SEC.  Arkansas hasn't recovered from the Southwest Conference, yet, and that's been since the early 90's.  As unamazing as Arkansas historically is, they were in a better position for the move to the SEC and had greater success than both of those teams, before.

Yes, the majority of fans in the stadium will be Arkansas fans.

K-State has already sold out their allotment.  Arkansas on the other hand, has not.

They are poor as hell.  I might buy a few and have them handed out to poor pigaggie fan.
