You all do realize that every single redneck joke that your making is about a state that you damn near border? And the same jokes are made about your state by people on the coasts?
It's funny how you Kansans think its some sort of joke to have one of the largest corporations in the world headquartered in one's state, but then again you all would have any experience with that would you?
Our state is so beautiful its got diamonds coming out of the ground, your state is...flat.

We will have the Koch brothers buy your shitty state and sell it to Cuba.
I'm sorry Dorothy, but Koch Industries makes about 1/4th of the revenue of Walmart alone and only employs 3% of the Walmart workforce.

Oh so it's a convenient statistic game is it?  What, is it all of the pitchforks you all have or something?

Remember folks, crime statistics are just on crimes reported. There could very well be just as many in Kansas and the police force is crappy. That's the problem with statistics.
The unwise man uses statistics as a drunkard uses a lightpost, for support rather than illumination.

EDIT: lol @ Willie.

As far as I can tell, murder by "other" is an awesome stat. I imagine most OTHER murders in Hawaii utilize coconuts or giant snails.

Um, yes, it just so happens I am very much a girl. A football loving Southern Belle, thank you very much. Southern Saturdays in the fall consist of football games with the family. And that was not a reasonable discussion from the very start. It was mean. I don't even like Arkansas. They're QB is hot, and he's pretty hot too :) but they have played hard! They've worked for this. And for y'all to be soooo worried about your "image"... Maybe y'all should be less worried, and try being sportsman like. That's why we can't all get along.

You know what? You are right.  Sorry to all the Arkansas fans, what can we do to make it up to you?

So you say you are a Southern Belle?  :fatty:

See that wasn't so hard. And to answer about 3 questions at once... Yes I am a southern belle, no I am not from Arkansas.. And how on earth did I make it sound like I was from Memphis? Louisiana girl.. Born and raised. I just really hate that Arkansas gets no credit. I think they've done great. Their coach could have a better attitude when they lose.. But coach Miles makes decisions that don't always make a lot of sense either.. But what do I know right? I'm just a girl :)

Wow, LSU would have been my 4th or 5th guess. You should use worse grammar if you want people to just assume you are from Louisiana.

Wow.. You know not everyone from Louisiana is an extra on Swamp People...

What percentage of the population would you estimate are swampers?

I would say I didn't have the time or the "want to" to figure out a  percentage of something like that.. Not trying to be rude.. Just saying that you shouldn't judge an entire state based on what you see on Swamp People, Joe Dirt, etc.. I am living proof that you can hunt, fish, go frogging and still use proper grammar.

Let's see a pic of the biggest fish you ever caught.
I will surely send you one.. I can't figure out how to do that from my phone..  :)

Hey all of you poor pityful Kansas St. fans. After reading most of your brainless remarks about Walmart I did a little research for all of you hayseeds. There are 61 Walmarts in the state of kansas. 8 less than in the State of Arkansas. -8...how ironic. The Razorbacks are giving up 8 points underdogs. And the comments about everyone being poor in Arkansas...Kansas Walmart employees make .20 cents less per hour than employees at Arkansas Walmart employees. Oh, another fact. In ESPN's college bowl pick'em 82%..........82% of voters have picked the Razorbacks over Kansas St. You better be glad there are 61 Walmarts in Kansas...you can get your crying towels cheap there.

Wow you are bragging about Wal-Mart. That's like Kansans bragging about Topeka or Missourians bragging about William Quantrill or Rhode Islanders bragging about Peter Griffin or Germany bragging about David Hasselhoff.

What a schmuck.  :gocho:
Hey man...say what you want about Arkansas. But when you start rough ridin' around with the 'hoff, you're making me wish for Manhattan to be leveled by the hand of God and the earth it sat upon to be salted.

So you are trying to dimension the size of the 2nd largest privately held company???
What was it again about the Kochs buying the state? Maybe the Waltons will let them drive them around.

Have it from a good source that when Charles Koch looked at his estimated value on Forbes, he laughed.

That's just a fabrication. War Memorial stadium was built in 1948 and dedicated by a medal of honor recipient in honor of those that fought and died in the two world wars.

War Memorial Stadium is a living tribute to all Arkansans who have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty for their country.

Doesn't distinguish for which country they were fighting for at the time.

#2 in Lynchings!!!!!   http://www.statemaster.com/graph/cri_lyn_tot_percap-crime-lynchings-total-per-capita
Oh so it's a convenient statistic game is it?  What, is it all of the pitchforks you all have or something?

The Lynchings data is outdated. It is collected from 1882 to 1968. Says so at the bottom. The poster who got all philosophical about posting stats hit it on the head. Statistics and data can say whatever you make them say or can be totally misrepresented like in this instance. Yeah Arkansas lynched a lot of my brethren in the nearly 100 year window after the Civil War and Reconstruction era. They were in the South. It was as common as going fishing in the South. So claiming that Arkansans still lynch is probably a bit far-fetched.

oh...and to the poster who put that the Coasts make the same jokes about KANSAS as they do about ARKANSAS...I have never heard 1/1,000,000th of the redneck/racist/backasswards references about Kansas as I have about Arkansas. Dream on buddy. There is a reason why your state has it's reputation. So quit kissin' your cousin and just own it.

You see, what your Arkansas benefactor did was create a 20th-21st century cotton field.  On the other hand, the Kansas benefactors created a place where people can work without having to worry about making enough money to care for their families.

If it's good enough for Arkansas though (which exploiting minorities has always been cool there), then it's cool with me.

Ok, based on that logic, they are racist in Indianapolis. http://maxkade.iupui.edu/soldiers.html
And Milwaukee. http://www.warmemorialcenter.org/About_Us/
Because, no matter where a war memorial is located, the US military was instrumental in the genocide of many Native American tribes.
