Yes.  If OU had won, we would have been in the Insight....we would have had a ring, though.

Doubtful, OU in fiesta and OSU would have gotten an at-large.  We'd have the trophy and this same match-up.

OSU and OU's resume's would be similar to ours currently though. And we got left out? I'm guessing OSU would have slid to Cotton. I would have taken Insight + CC anyday.

I'm over it though. Id much rather play Arkansas than Michigan or Va-Tech. The shitty party is UM and VTU both suck so bad that neither will probably be embarrassed and shown that they do not belong.

The only thing I care about is if the team is happy to be in the Cotton. If the team is as upset about being snubbed as some of us are, it may turn into an Alamo Bowl experience.
Go Cats! Beat the Hogs! Funny how an SEC SEC NC doesn't allow for them to get shown up, its so safe for the SEC. So...we've the only chance to put the SEC down. That along with Bama getting owned and OSU tearing the crap out of Stanford.

I don't know what happened in the second half against OU (I stopped watching) but aside from that, there's no reason we can't play with anyone. We will. Go Cats!

I get Michigan receiving the invite.  I'm still a little flummoxed on the VT invite.

I think people are really overstating their ability to travel and the TV ratings, but I could be wrong there.  I think we probably draw just as well as they would (if not better) in person, and I'm pretty sure the TV draw would be marginal at best.

This baffles me.  I'm not sure what just happened here.

Arkansas did not. They were 3rd in their conference. They did it to themselves.
