I can't believe I forgot about the Huskies. Also, don't forget about the Utes a murderous tribe of native savages. Mascots don't have to be scary to be awesome.  A few years ago the Tree was kicked out of a game because the student in the suit was too drunk and belligerent.  Can't talk crap on that.  The same thing has happened with their band too.

I'm going to go against the grain and say our very own BigXII has a decently badass mascot conglomeration. Sure we took a hit when we lost the Buffaloes, but we also managed to rid ourselves of such mascots as Aggies, Tigers, and Cornhuskers in the process, so it's probably a win in the end.  Just look at our current list... Longhorns, Red Raiders, Bears, Cyclones (try and forget their stupid cardinal with it), Jayhawks (forget the goofy bird they symbolize it with), our very own Wildwildquatz, and our newest additions Horned Frogs and Mountaineers. Just imagine the awesomeness our conference could be if we added Rutgers and ND thus picking up Scarlet Knights (I imagine bloody, immortal ghost warriors) and Fighting Irish ( )
