Mizzou almost won the conference. KU almost won the North Division. I almost applied to Colorado.

None of those things happened either.

Ummm... correction:  KU did win the North division.  We tied.  Kinda like how K-State is hoping to tie for the Big 12 title with two teams that beat you guys head-to-head.
how did the B12 champ game go then?

Yeah, that's true. The only difference is that nobody really cares about who the champ of the shitty Big 12 North is.

Obviously it's a forgone conclusion that we'll easily beat ISU by double digits...

So, IF OU beats OSU, how will you celebrate the Big 12 title?

I am going to savor a nice bourbon and light a cigar off a flaming picture of  Saddam Hussein, then wake up on Sunday morning and go for out for some nice Dim Sum.

Give me some of what you are drinking!

name one accomplishment in the recent history of ISU football that would lead us to believe that ISU has a snowball's chance in hell of winning.
Nobody knows history better than your coach father time.  As for recent history, ISU was two kicks away from winning the North in the 2000's.  Insert Chiz who effed it all up and now our coach is one of the most up and coming coaches in the country.  Accomplishment?  Beating #2 two weeks ago and changing the BCS landscape, is that big enough for you?

When was the last time ISU beat more than 1 ranked team in a season?

Well the have beaten 2 this season.

The Big 12 North was round robin... and both teams tied.

#17 in the country when we whooped their ass.  Why are we even discussing this?  KState has had about as much success as ISU through the years.  If it wasnt for father time KSU would be nothingness like it was when he left.  And it will be nothingness when he is gone in a season.

There are no splits when there is a championship game. If you didn't play in the Dr. Pepper, you didn't really win the north.

Then again, having to resort to claiming your 1 tie as a win is pretty much the Helms Title of football. 'grats Ben, you've earned it.

It doesn't matter where they are when you beat them. What matters is where they finish. They aren't even bowl-eligible.

Not true.  This is no different than someone saying that if you lost head-to-head to the two teams that you "tied" with for a Big 12 title, then you didn't really win the conference.  The Big 12 acknowledges KU's 2007 North Division title.  The trophy is in the Anderson Family Football Complex.

You can thank this guy for making an inaccurate statement about a team that has nothing to do with K-State/Iowa State:

KU didn't play in the CCG.  The tiebreaker went to Mizzou.  By the way, I'm really looking forward to watching you guys in the CCG this year.  Can't wait!
