Yeah, I believe so. K-State’s talent is underrated because LHC Bill Snyder is a beast, but outside of Arthur Brown, Nigel Malone and maybe a few others, there’s not a lot of just natural playmaking. Collin Klein is three levels of badass, but I also think he benefits more than anyone from Snyder’s coaching.
Here’s another way to look at it…KSU will be 10-2 if it beats Iowa State. With a normal coach? Maybe they’re 7-5 or so. KU is 2-10. With Snyder, it’s easy to see them going 6-6 or so.

Yeah, just like Mellinger pointed out... you guys have Brown, Malone, and Klein, and outside of that, I'm not sure there's a whole lot of difference.

Went to the Oregon State/Washington State game in Seattle, but other than that, I don't know much about Washington State or Pullman. 

Got family living in Washington State without ties to either.  The way they describe UW and WSU is the way most outsiders might view KU and KSU, only without exceling in sports.  UW grads tend to gold plate their crap because they think people on Ebay want to buy it.  WSU grads are salt of the earth, hard-working, tucks with farmer tans.  Guess which one correlates with KU and which with KSU.
