It's like there's 10 Oregonhawks posting in that thread. Really hard to read. Clearly full of bball only fans, but really funny at the same time.

Regardless of who wins this weekend in Stillwater, I'm 99% confident that the Big 12 will only get one team into a BCS Bowl, and it will be the winner of that game.

Disregarding the fact that OSU isn't playing this weekend, this is a pretty absurd statement.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it past the first page of stupid.

  ND has 8 wins and guaranteed a BCS  spot.

It's like when you go to your in-laws for the holiday. Some 10 year old will come up to the adult table and try and talk sports with his uncle and his friends. He'll mention one or two things, usually completely backwards statements out of naivety, but you'll chuckle, grin, and pat him on the head just so not to crush the poor kid's heart.

I'm not sure if Snyder was better for K-State or worse for KU. He's ruined them.

This thread is gold.  KU fans talking about who they can get next.  Putting themselves just below PSU and OSU but at the same level as Arizona, Iowa, etc...some have even mentioned Chris Peterson from Boise.  Do they seriously not realize how bad their program is?

Nope. KSU never has, and has no chance of ever being nationally relevant to get one either. Just another example of the national relevancy and following that KU has. Sorry, but no one outside of KS cares about the kitties. Hell, 99% of people outside the state aren't even aware that there is a Kansas "State" as well as a KU. The Jayhawks are a national brand, KSU has been riding KU's coattails for years while avoiding their proper place as a mid major. (KSU vs Houston would be a nice bowl matchup)

They're terrified of the Q@s getting to a BCS game because they think that's their very own sacred ground in the state. Then if we don't get a BCS game the season is somehow irrelevant or meaningless. Unreal amount of butt hurt hilarity. I think I'll go ahead and pull for Mizzou after reading that thread.

I thought Leawood made some good points.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Also, lol @ them for someone mistakingly thinking they were talking about the championship game.  Awesome that they can make that mistake.  Really undermines their whole argument

We need a proven winner. I still believe Mike Leach would prefer to coach at Kasas over alot of schools. He has great recruiting ties in Texas andknows the Big 12 well. The Kansas job will interest him.

KSUcks is so great.  One of my faves.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I didn't say they don't travel well, they are just famous for not spending any money once at the destination. Bowl games want fans not only to come to the game, but spend a few days spending big money at local stores, bars, and restaurants.

Prime example was an 11-1 KSU team in '98 being passed up over and over by all the major bowls and ending up in the Alamo Bowl against a mediocre Purdue team.
