Thought they nailed their evaluation of Hubs too

Quote
John Hubert is a mid tier FBS runner. Little guy. He has 748 yards at 5.1 ypc and only 2 TDs. Which reminds you what his red zone role is. If you overcompensate for Klein, he can certainly run through empty space, forward-like, at a goodly pace. Very shifty and Hodges Mitchell-ish.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see Snyder throw out something pretty crazy early to try to get a lead.

Really?  I would be shocked.  I have seen nothing this season that would indicate that Snyder would try anything early that carries any substantial risk.  And I don't view Texas as a team that Snyder would think would require anything other than the conservative approach.   :dunno:

I do agree we'll see some new wrinkles throughout the rest of the game, though...unless somehow we're able to just run over them (which I don't anticipate).

Toss pass early 2nd quarter vs aTm? Double reverse in first half vs OSU?

We're overdue for a fake fieldgoal option.  Might save this one for Iowa State.

"If there was a team we really needed to leave the conference, it was K. State — not Nebraska, Mizzouri, Colorado, or A&M — not that we’ll miss the Aggies."

Oh, okay. 2nd quarter maybe. I thought we were talking "first 2 series" early.

Probably... would like to see Collin try a screen pass or three.  We're really gonna struggle to move the ball.  Basically Texas needs to turn it over 3 times to give us a chance.   :ohno:

Maybe, but blitzing doesn't always work well against the run. If anything aTm's scheme of loading the line of scrimmage and trying to keep our offense inside the tackles seems to be the best plan.
