Sams will likely be a very good player for K-State... but not next year. I'd expect a Wildcat-esque package for him that will be used some though. It should be a great situation for him to start as a SOPH.

Yeah, I am perfectly content with Sams package described by _FAN next year (<---complete 180 by sd ).

Sams will likely be a very good player for K-State... but not next year. I'd expect a Wildcat-esque package for him that will be used some though. It should be a great situation for him to start as a SOPH.

very first sams play he lines up in wildcat and does the option pass hitting lockett in stride 40 yards downfield with nobody near him

the Sams package features him lining up at WR then motioning into the backfield where he takes a handoff from Klein. then he runs for a nice gain.

This is what will make it fantastic.  Most wildcat packages these days lets you know exactly what's gonna happen, snap/immediate run.  The SWP could include passing.  Oh man, with Klien already having played receiver for us, this could work out pretty ok.
