Definitely saddened.

Cause I really, REALLY wanted the Cats to beat UT.

Stunningly bad clock management on that next to last drive, mystifying play calling.

Oh well.

My LFBIQ takeaway points: We shouldn’t have given TX such a big lead. We should invest in a solid two minute scoring plan.

This one hurts. Not mad. Sad.

Yup, we're fine, first half I was mad given our poor play, particularly defensively, but second half showed a lot resiliency, not a moral victory, but something to build on

Yes could have gotten two more kneel downs which would have been cool

I’m suggesting they should’ve been used when we had the ball rusty.

I think we need to be raising a bigger stink about that horrendous clock management on the second to last drive. WTF was that???

It was a bad time for a return of the slothfense.  Although we got the ball back with like 2:43 left which isn't that bad.  Whatever.

I'm not really that upset about that last drive from our set up. As dax said it really was the previous drive taking over 5 minutes to only get a fg that bothers me more, we back ourselves into a corner.

The defense, as maligned as they were and rightfully so for the first half, did a spectacular job on Texas' drive to even give us that much time.

End of the day, you can't give up 31 points in a half and expect to win, and I also don't see Will fairing that much better, the biggest gripe in general on 9AM was that pick before half. That was the backbreaker we couldn't afford, the end of the game fumble while shitty AF and is his calling card was more on our inability to call a TO

The Cats didn't lose this game because of 9AM.  However, I think Will would have given us a better chance to win.  If I remember correctly, in the games UT lost in the second half it was due to big plays downfield in the passing game.  At this point based on the small sample size, I think Will throws a better, more accurate deep ball and would have given us a better shot to comeback and win.  :dunno:

It's tough to say that Will would have had a better passing day when he has never had as good as a game passing as Adrian did last night. Will had more touchdown passes against OSU but Adrian had more completions, yards, yards per attempt, and a better percentage. He also had over 50 rushing yards, nearly 400 total. In addition to that Adrian kept several plays alive with his feet. I though Will was great in the pocket last week, but there was much more QB pressure against Texas, they are a significantly more talented defense.

Adrian has been incredible in big 12 play, because of all the QB injuries all over the conference, he still has a great shot at 2nd team all conference despite missing two games.
