'grats to dax
« on: November 11, 2011, 10:10:18 PM »
looking at martin era early season embarrassments, tonight's debacle would appear to be #5 on the list.

1.  ft hays st 2010 83-76 w - d2.
2   xavier 2008 103-77 l - x was good, but kstate wasn't close to competitive.
3.  oregon 2009 75-70 l - road loss to one of the worst bsc teams of the year.
4.  pitt st 2008 76-66 w - d2.
5.  tonight.

wasn't Martin, but remember that triple overtime thriller against washburn?

it's debatable, because it was a road game.  but oregon was really horrible that year, and it was a loss, not just an ugly win.

I remember that Ft. Hays game.  What a debacle that turned out to be.  Killed our whole season.  Man oh man, did we ever suck that year.

No one knew how bad Oregon was at the time so the meltdown was subdued.  Also was a late Sunday night tip. What about losing to Iowa in Vegas? That team was about as bad as Oregon.

So ugly...this team is so much better than the 08 team, and played a hell of a game considering frank was being a complete dick the first half and the rough ridin' three hour practice before the game.

I seriously think that Iowa game was Frank's worst loss. It has to be in the top 5.
