So if I understand you, you're claiming Goat Roper U is better than KU at every position.  If that's your claim, I also supposing that that means you're practically guaranteeing that last year's B12 Preseason Men's Basketball Champions will finish ahead of KU in the B12, right?

You should move to Vegas.  You could make a fortune as either a professional gambler or a stand-up comedian.
The hell? Which one of you wiseasses changed our moniker to "Goat Roper U?"  I was really fond of Goat Meat U
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.

Well, what is it?  How many are claiming that you'll finish ahead of KU in the B12?  Claim it now or be a pussy.

We've got one voter.  He says, "No.  I don't believe we'll finish ahead of KU."

Any other voters?

Thomas Robinson would start for KSU this year, as would Tyshawn Taylor and Elijah Johnson.  I think the better question is who from KSU would be starting for KU.

Read the thread. Frank would have ran Taylor two years ago. Elijah Johnson last year, and Robinson would have an endless eye hernia.
Send over better sqwawks please.

I won't get into this pissing match because I don't follow ku close enough, but can someone clarify this just so I understand?

KU has three players that would absolutely start on our team?  And two of those players weren't good enough to beat out  Morninstar or Reed last year?

Is that correct?

pretty much although the 'weren't good enough to beat out morningfhag and tiny head is not really accurate.  Selby also didn't start most games iirc.  Self apparently thought they needed a white boy or two out there to feed the post and knock down threes more than they needed an athlete who could score in transition.  Johnson and Releford would have probably started for 10 out of the 12 teams in the league last year.

just sayin'

No.  Taylor is a 4-year starter and Johnson only played behind Reed/Morningstar because he was inconsistent and Self didn't have confidence in him.  You will find out soon enough, though, just like you guys do every year.  You would think after back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back Big 12 titles that you guys might get a clue at some point.

most athletic "House Divided" 5
taylor
johnson
McGruder
Robinson
JO

I think the better 5 would replace johnson with Sprads and Self's past lineups would agree with me

I have a clue.  KU basketball is unbelievably good. Just look at what they did to your football program:

1. Go to Orange Bowl and win.
2. Start the next season with 3 blowout wins.
3. Get their ass kicked on campus in broad daylight by the basketball team.
4. Squeak by So. Miss and Iowa State.
5. 1-21 in conference games since then.

That's just flat awesome.

We've had points in the last 25 years where our basketball team was bad.

They weren't ever that bad.

All I know is that Naadir Tharpe wouldn't start for Manhattan High. He's absolutely terrible. So small and ugly too.
