Quote from: kumoulder on November 09, 2011, 01:07:38 PMi was looking for stats for "this year" , but apparently to my surprise, i guess these "exhibition" games don't actually count. So i can't use we beat Ft Hays St by 20+ more points than you guys did or that Ft. Hays St played you guys almost even in the 2nd half, i wish i could, but the "stats" dont countthat's weird, i found the stats for both games quite easily.looks like 2 of the guys you said would start for ksu didn't even start OR play for ku in an exhibition. Either ku is THAT deep, or those guys aren't good at hoops.looks like i win the internet, chief.

at the end of the day, just alittle friendly banter between rival fans (i've notice you guys sometime play coy to entice KU fans to keep posting on topics). i won't post anything vulgar or attack anyone, just having some fun. i have great respect for K-St and their fans (as passionate as fans get) good luck this season
was trying to be somewhat respectful on an opposing teams message board, but i can turn it up a notch if necessary. K-St bball fans trying to talk crap on KU bball fans is like bringing a butter knife to a gun fight. you dont want to go down that road. 8manpick is an internet tough guy apparently?

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

so the answer to the OP is yes, there are a couple of players on KU's team that would start for k-state.
KU beat FHSU, 101-52 (without two of our starters), while K-State won 90-60. The leading scorer between both teams was Thomas Robinson with 22 points. Naadir Tharpe was second with 19.
Teahan, Withey, Releford.

I think the real question here is: Would KSU's bench beat KU's starters and by how much? Yes. 10 @ Bramlage and 3 @ AFH.

Same with Withey. Teahan is basically a 6'6 Spradling without the acne and pre-pubescent voice.

Teahan is basically a 6'6 Spradling without the acne and pre-pubescent voice.so it's rankings that determine playing time at KU? johnson was higher rated than either of your G's last season, yet hhe rode the pine. the truth is, neither releford, nor withey (who is terrible), would start at K-State. there isn't a coach in the country that would start withey over JO or releford over McOERebounds
Johnson started a few games for KU last season and was a solid role player for us. He would have started at K-State from day one, just like Releford.
