WTF are you talking about, noob?  There are tons of AAU programs with NBA mascots as their nicknames.  See: Atlanta Celtics, KC 76'ers, Texas Thunder, Westchester Warriors, Bay State Blazers, North Carolina Magic, etc, etc.

Not claiming I played for the KC 76'ers.  Different 76'ers team that I played for in 7th/8th grade.  Went to multiple regional AAU tournaments in the Midwest.  Played against the KC Bullets (Brandon Rush's team) in a tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was tall and uncoordinated at the time, but still dominated us.
