While you idiots were waiting for a table at So Long on Saturday myself and Mrs Emo and her friends were enjoying round after round at Coco Bolo's.  And the carne asada was amazing.  Very tender.

when the Manhattan locals find out about this place your coveted spot may be in jeopardy, keep it quiet is what I'm saying.

What do you think of the new Taco Lucha joint?  Looks pretty cool, but more cramped than So Long (if possible).

is it open? it wasn't as of friday.

Was open for drinks on Saturday.  No food for 10 days from then.

Is there like a huge black spot in the front of a townies face where all aggieville and college type places are blocked from view so they avoid traffic and crowds?  Could be a good survival mechanism now that I think about it. Willies always has a spot for you and you don't have parking issues in case you need to be at your softball game at cico by 7.

Anyway, I knew we were in the right place when I saw a couple of long-time K-State people. Tim Fitzgerald, publisher of Powercat Illustrated and GoPowercat.com, and former KSU sports information director Ben Boyle both were in the Hibachi Hut with separate parties. And a contingent from OU came in; video whiz Brandon Meier told me he’d been twice before. So I knew I was in good hands.

It's clearly Bolo's.

And Bolo's is definitely a Mexican joint.  Citing the fact that it has other things on the menu as a counter-response is like saying BigD's isn't a burger place because it has a chicken sandwich on the menu.  GMAB, townie trash (not fatty).

I thought he was talking about So Long too, but only because I was figuring the backwards hick from Oklahoma would call southwest food, mexican food.

also, an actual mexican restaurant looks like it is about ready to open in aggieville really soon. i'd say within the next week or two at the latest. can. not. wait.

I'll give you two slaps across your mouth and you'll like it.

Now, tell us more, specifically a detailed recipe breakdown of the tijuana trainwreck and the part about how you drink for free.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

The only way to save this stupid rough ridin' thread at this point is with detailed Bolo recipes and the secret to drinking free.

Please rescue this thread, Ben.  thx
