Seriously, did Mitch paint that thing with a sharpie in his Taurus out in the parking lot before he went inside to speak to the team?

Mitch is hardcore EMAW.  That had to be done with a woodburning kit.  Probably took him several hours down in the shop.

It never ceases to amaze me how much people can hate anything around here.  Kind of a weird thing for you guys to be butthurt about

you should know i hate anything mitch holthus does.
he could have been a real voice for k-state and rallied people to say no back when we painted the damn teal color inside bramlage.  or when we turned completely into kstateo.  instead, he joined the good old boy network and glad handed as much as he could, he then took the best deal he could and skipped town.  we're here today fixing the mistakes he helped sow.  eff that guy.

"purple palace".....just stfu.

I'm pretty sure anyone would take his job over Wyatt's.

Greg Sharpe was and still is every bit as good as Mitch.  And we ran him off.

excuse his silence during the building blocks of the kstateo era, or better yet, explain his buying into it.

oh that's right.  he's a rough ridin' full of himself douche.

sad part is our players were forced to "buy into" this concept.  right before getting assraped.

I thought when I saw it on the screen before the game that it said "mob" family (and the screen caps seem to confirm).  Did the team write that on there?

Hope they burned it.

I hope they saw it, and continue sawing it throughout the season.

Denied, it should be carved into a little oar.

I like the concept, just not the block. We dont have enough tradition at KSU IMHO. Someone should take the idea and run with it though. A big log in front of vanier with family carved out and a saw or giant axe sticking out of it hell maybe even johhny kaw wacking at it. Or maybe someplace where the players touch it as they come out etc. Make it a native tree.. cottonwood or Bois d'arc (hedgeapple fro us kansans) etc.  :chainsaw: and for god sakes no pinnochio referneces..I winced when I watched that thing..
