I'll retire from this board forever if our next HC is a surefire, future HOF'r.

Yeah, because everyone knew in 1989 that LHC Bill Snyder was going to be a surefire HOF'er . . .

Just think. 24 hours ago we were reduced to haikus and threads about sleezy's wife's boobs. This is just the shot in the arm that this place needed.
Man you said a mouth full.

lol at you rough ridin' retards.  You try so hard to be anti-tuck that you end up being exactly like them, only on the opposite end of the spectrum.  We lose our first game of the season and you all can't wait to join in the circle jerk and piss all over this team and coaching staff like we're 0-8.  OU got embarrassed at home last week by a TT team that we beat in Lubbock...who just got their asses handed to them by a bad ISU team...at home.  It's Big XII college football.  crap happens.

Any of you that think K-State can just go out and land a coach that's better than Snyder and that can get perennial top 15 recruiting classes AND keep a team in the top 10 every year is rough ridin' delusional.  You keep crying about our recruiting classes and I'll keep enjoying our wins mediocraty.

FYP, tuck.

First of all, if you're going to fix my posts, at least learn to spell.  Secondly, I love how you rattled off TT, Baylor and WV's recruiting classes with envy.  I know you haven't been paying attention, but we already beat 2 of those teams and the other one got prison raped by SYRACUSE a couple of weeks ago.

And your idea of mediocrity is almost as Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) as your spelling of it.

Your P.I. =

You have missed my point tuck. Follow along - the point is those places are about as attractive to recruit to as Manhattan, KS (and some places are even MORE isloated than Manhattan is). IDGAF who beats who, as that is completely irrelevant in regards to this particular conversation. If we had a staff that could recruit, we'd have a decent to pretty good recruiting class and maybe we dont get TORCHED like we did today. I dont know why that is so hard to understand.
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

I'm confused, what do you call OU last getting torched by 27 points in the first half last week.  Now that gota be embarrassing.

 OK, for the last time - if you were a 4* athlete, would you look at Lubbock, TX if a old guy talked to you about family and Pinnochio and bettering yourself all the while you knew you couldn't go down to the local Valero and pick up a 30 pack of beer? Hell no you wouldn't, but if they had an elite coaching staff and an amazing recruiter who wined and dined you and stroked your ego, you'd sign in a minute. Wheter or not they won, lost, butt-mumped each other at half-time is irrelevant for this convo. I'm just trying to talk to the ridiculous tuck talking point that we cant do any better becasue were located in Manhattan, KS. Lastly, remember Chase Coffman? The good Coffman FB player? His dad, Paul Coffman played at KSU and you'd figure the guy was a shoe-in, right? When OBz went to work his magic and lay our his  Pinnochio BS, Chase Coffman (reportedly) fell asleep! THAT'S shitty recruiting and THAT'S why we can't get good recruits here. Do you get it yet? I'll never understand the blind allegiance that KSUTUCKNATION has to OBz.

No, I get it.  I understand perfectly.  You don't care how many games we win, you just want to be able to brag about a top 20 recruiting class.

I'm completely confident that we can find a coach that could get us top 20 recruiting classes every year, so I'm not arguing that point.  If you find a good recruiter, they can recruit to just about anywhere.  They may not be able to coach worth a eff, but they can get some good recruits to come to Manhattan.

Climb down off the short bus and stop being so Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Who in the hell would want Bill Calafraud as thier coach (a guy who can recruit, but isn't a good coach) - If LHC Snyder had a good recruiting staff we'd probably have had a better chance at winning today. Nobody is denying that they guy knows how to coach - he's just stuck with his merry band of SHlTHEADS who (now follow along, because this is the important part) cannot recruit. NOW do you see or are we still stuck on bragging about recruiting classes?

I don't think anyone is saying that we can't recruite to Manhappyness.  Look Caliahan recruited top classes every year he was at Nub, but couldn't win a fuckin game if it was handed to him.  Coaching quality is important; and it doesn't seem anyone is willing to give OB the credit he deserves.

lol at you rough ridin' retards.

Oh I get it.  You mean like TT's pretty decent recruiting class kept them from getting TORCHED by ISU today.

wait...

While I generally agree with your logic, you talking points are lacking.  When the great Chase Coffman was recruited by Moo, we had Scary Smart Prince Mcjunkins.  :nono:

Chase Coffman Class of 2005

Scary Smart started coaching at the Kansas State University 2006 - try to keep up.

I swear to god that the majority of K-State fans have battered wives' syndrome when it comes to Snyder. He's the answer to everything because no one could possibly ever love us if we left him.

Yes, he saved us from becoming FHSU east. Sure he can probably continue winning 6-8 games a year until he dies but he's also going to put teams out there every year that will get taken to the woodshed in one or two games.

Snyder didn't build K-State into a national power by himself you dumb fucks. He had the help of some other equally incredibly gifted coaches. Coaches that went on to coach in national championship games and BCS bowls.

Who on his current staff is going to be hired away? crap, Snyder has become so inept a recruiting, he can't even find anyone not getting AARP mailers to coach with him.
