As long as Snyder is the coach, the majority of K-State will be more than pleased with over coaching DITR and going 7-5 or 8-4.   Which is nice, but it would be nice to see a coaching staff actually land some kinds that are sought by other high quality BCS level schools.

So far, we have 2 guys committed showing legit BCS offers besides K-State.   Come on Man, this is recruiting class #4.

What game plan do you suggest?

one thing I'd suggest is that if you're not blitzing down 6 or up 3, then why are we blitzing down 20...and 30...and why on god's green f'ing earth are we blizting from the edge when landry is awful with pressure in his face?

and offensively, we're really going to run 3 and 4 receiver sets and then run 3 goddamn routes that take longer than 3  seconds to run?

and the play call on 3rd and 4 at the end of the 2nd quarter was beyond Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  I mean, we're f'ing destroying them up front and we pass it 15 yards to the back of the endzone?  I realize we ran the same play to harper against tech...but that was against single coverage to (I believe) the wide side of the field.  ou was in zone and it was double coverage to the short side.

I'm not the old [redacted] whos getting 2M/yr to put a quality product on the field and to surround himself with people who aren't idiots. _FAN, I am not an x's and O's guy but for eff's sake - isn't there a plan B? isn't there an adjustment to be made? If your QB is pissing down his homeschooled leg, shouldn't you try something different?

I am just a guy who loves his team and I am unwilling to accept this RIDICULOUS performance. I'm not that guy who throws the "I told you so's" out there, but this SHlT has to stop! There was no answer for the second half and we were able to keep up with them in the first - no adjustments and THAT'S what these assholes are paid to rough ridin' do!!!

Dude, sometimes the other team is much, much more talented then you and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

We're never going to be elite again with the majority of our fans having this attitude.

 :curse:

No I have no problem stating Oklahoma has a lot more talent than us, now.

We will never be elite again if we think talent doesn't  matter.

No, talent does matter. Having a coach that can get talent is a pretty big part of not getting in the position of the other team being "much, much more talented than you."

You believe there's not a damn thing Snyder could do about that.

I believe it's his rough ridin' job to not let that happen.

Just think. 24 hours ago we were reduced to haikus and threads about sleezy's wife's boobs. This is just the shot in the arm that this place needed.

we are k-state

we all know the reality. we will never pull in top 10 recruiting classes.

i agree that we need better assistants, as both coaches and recruiters. but even then, we are perpetually in an uphill battle.

it's not defeatist to acknowledge that 98 was our shot. nor is it defeatist to appreciate the effort and fortitude of this year's team and staff.

i'm enjoying this team. the eff with anything else.

How about Top 50 . . . why should that be so hard?

All legitimate critiques, especially the pass to Harper inside the red zone.

j-dub . . . new king of the tucks.

Also, keep in mind that we could of had a all new Vanier to recruit to, but Snyder couldn't be bothered with the construction.

I rough ridin' hate the "This is Manhattan and it's impossible to recruit high caliber athletes here" talking point. Morgantown is a hell-hole, they pull 4-5* guys regularily. What Floridian/Texan/Southern/Northern Californian in their right minds would go to Lincoln, NE? Who in the hell would want to go to South Bend, IN? Oh and State College, PA is a SHlTHOLE too with crappy weather and it's in Central, PA about 3 hrs from both Philly and Pittsburgh. That's the difference between good recruiting and what we have - these guys "get it" and we are still are in the stone ages w/r to landing high quality recruits. Oh and if Sams is that damned good, START HIS ASS, SHlT, AT LEAST WE'D HAVE A PASSING THREAT!!!
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

we are 7-1... our fans pissed off stoops so he made us pay for it when we couldn't even throw a pass when we called a pass play. Next week is going to be bad too then every game is winnable. Quitters quit, winners win, the better team won today just hope we didn't quit

Locations man, I'm comparing locations. Baylor's a 25th in recruiting and they're in Waco MF TX, Tech is in a DRY COUNTY and they are 14th, WVU is 21... if we had recruiters who were worth a eff, we'd be at least top 50 - but we have SHlTHEADS

And Waco is a shithole too, Fresno is located smack dab in the middle of CA, and nobody in their right mind likes that place. Why? Because it's a shithole too. If a staff can recruit to a Lubbock, TX where you can't buy booze, we can recruit to Mahnhattan, KS.

lol at you rough ridin' retards.  You try so hard to be anti-tuck that you end up being exactly like them, only on the opposite end of the spectrum.  We lose our first game of the season and you all can't wait to join in the circle jerk and piss all over this team and coaching staff like we're 0-8.  OU got embarrassed at home last week by a TT team that we beat in Lubbock...who just got their asses handed to them by a bad ISU team...at home.  It's Big XII college football.  crap happens.

Any of you that think K-State can just go out and land a coach that can get perennial top 15 recruiting classes AND keep a team in the top 10 every year is rough ridin' delusional.  You keep crying about our recruiting classes and I'll keep enjoying our wins.

A 7-1 team that's being completely clown car'd and exposed . . . for what it is, a nice band of DITR overachievers and a program that can't get to the next level of recruiting.   One because the old fart head coach refuses to really get with the program and he's surrounded himself with guys who are mediocre coaches and not good recruiters.

jt is that special kind of guy who cherish Copper Bowls and will never demand anything more than just being kind of interesting from a coach getting paid nearly $2 million dollars a year.

Thank God we're not paying HCTG that kind of money!  :ohno:

Good game boys... You fans sure did cry a lot in the first 1/2. Think we didn't even have our starting running back the whole game
Look you dumbfucks wanted a round robin conference play.  Guess what, lots of luck playing in a BCS bowl.  You lost to Texas Tech, who just got clown-suited by Iowa State.  And after OSU gets done with ya, you'll be going to a nice bowl just like us.  Suck on that for a while turdlicker.  :shakesfist:

GTFOOMF with this, "can't do any better than Snyder" BS.

If an actual coaching search is conducted you can find a good candidate, when a school is willing to pay $2 million or more for a coach, they'll be plenty of interest in the job.
