and LHC Bill Snyder is named as one of the best coaches ever, if not THE best coach ever. Will his exalted status hurt KSU in the future? I mean, it took one of the greatest coaches of all time 20 years to win a NC there. Would that scare of potential prime replacement candidates? Will people buy into the tuck tale of only Snyder being able to win here? How much can/will Bill's success hurt us in the future?

I would challenge other coaches to beat Snyder's 20 year mark or whatever (should this all come to pass that is). I bet that would attract some of the big egos at least.

a football NC is equal to roughly a million basketball NCs. hell, a B12 ship is worth roughly the same as a basketball NC.

If we win the national championship, Bill can do whatever he wants. I wouldn't even care if we drop football and go out on top. I have already resigned myself to the belief that I will never see a K-State national championship in football, so anything after that point would just be gravy.

If he wins a NC he has earned a clause in his contract that every coach going forward for all time can be a Snyder or a Snyder by marriage.

Also, not just one road, but every road in Riley County will be named LHC Bill Snyder Highway with a numerical designation at the end to differentiate them.

There will be a solid wall of Snyder statues surrounding the stadium and at certain points they will raise up like garage doors to let fans into the game.

Casey I agree with you. The month-long ride of the Tornament, with 5 wins leading up to the NC game, would be an unbelievable amount of stress/excitement/utter joy. The FB NC is only one game, with a month-long hiatus after the last reg season game. It would be all stress, and no excitement/utter joy. However, obviously, would take in a heartbeat. I just think as a fan, the ride to the BB NC would be much more enjoyable.

Frank Martin's job going forward will be to follow Bill around and to sneak up and get down on all fours behind Bill's enemies so Bill can push them and make them fall backwards when the trip over Frank. Whitney will coach the basketball team.
