The last 2 minutes of every Gridiron are very hard to watch. The majority up the segment is high energy, high optimism. Game coverage is exciting (despite the actual score).

But, then, reality sets in...

Camera pans to the blank, defeated looks on the players' faces. They cue up the sad music. And then the post-game locker room scene. It's heart-breaking. That poor program. I almost have to stop watching.

Isn't that time taken where you could review film or something?

I was thinking the same exact thing. It's just getting more and more awkward each week. The desperation in Gill's voice crescendos each video. I'm afraid he's going to blow up and go ape crap on his players.

deep down..do you think some of his players think he is totally full of crap and has no idea what he's doing?

How many little sound byte talking point memos can you shout to your players while you continually get slaughtered every Saturday?

but, that being said, it would be unfair of them to fire him after year two. He needs at least five years to develop his system

I don't know how those guys stay awake in those meetings. I start to doze just watching for 45 seconds.

I can't imagine OBz is any more exciting, but then, he is a 70 year old white guy.

Good observasion, notice the team unity yell at the end. Not really a yell; only a group of players who haven't bought in. Gill will soon have a new first name... Prince Gill anyone? But I'm sure they will get better next year, or maybe the year after.

Offensively gill is certainly improving. Like it or not they put up more points than Missouri did.

A new DC would go a long way.

We did match them play for play though it seems. Until the end when they scored on the fade.
