A very under-appreciated fact that has always applied to Snyder's teams.  A team with significantly better athletes will beat the crap out of a Snyder-coached team 100% of the time so long as the better team actually gives a crap about winning the game.

Clearly the Sooners just didn't show up for / give a crap about winning that game.

The team didn't care about winning the conference title and potentially knocking them out of national title contention?

Seems very unlikely, but since it's completely subjective premise, I'll concede.  You're right.

How about 39-3 at home against Nebraska in '96 or 12-0 against CU the same year
26-10 against A&M in 2000

Also he was talking about superior teams, not all teams, there weren't many superior teams then so yeah the two ass kickings you mentioned along with the three I mentioned are quite relevant to chums point.

JFC.  Name a team that does not regularly get beat by teams with superior talent.

If we had Ell Roberson this year we would be a virtual lock to win the Big XII and probably one of 3 teams that had a legit shot at the national championship game.  Our WR core is sick.  Like really really really rough ridin' good.  Our problem is that we can't effectively get them the ball on a consistent basis.  How many times have you seen Klein overthrow a receiver that was wide open downfield?  I would venture to guess that a vast majority of his incompletions this year came when the receiver was open enough to catch the ball but Klein didn't put where they could even get 1 hand on it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pumped about where we are right now, it's just kind of sad to think how we're wasting the best wide receiving core we've had in a really long time.  :frown:

Stanford has USC, Oregon and Notre Dame to end the season. They will lose one of those.
The media wants a Big 12-SEC nc game. There the two baddest mother fuckers in the land. Who wouldn't want to watch them play for it.

The media would prefer an SEC v. SEC national title game.

Would you put a 1-loss team from the #SEC in the #BCS Title game over an undefeated #OklahomaSt, #Stanford or #Boise?

They retweeted someone who said Stanford would be the only undefeated team that would be better than a 1-loss SEC team.

The media wanted SEC vs undefeated OU, but since OSU is the only possible left undefeated Big 12 team, now they want SEC vs SEC.

You know you're a fvckin' pussy when you jump on after the fact.

I see who you are.

One bad half doesn't change me.  I'll stand by that comment of being a few difference makers away in conjunction with the younger players being developed.

Pile on ladies.    There is room for a few more as well.

24, you're a big effin moron as well.  I notice when you attempt to talk afterwards.  Never one who has enough balls to make a strong opinion one way or another and then chirps from the back after the fact.  Wear your skirt a little higher.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

I really like the offense that Harbough put in while at Stanford because it's a fantastic combination of power running and well designed passing plays, they use a lot of shifts and set variations.    Albeit I am not surprised that USC with Monte Kiffin did pretty well at shutting it down given Stanford's offense likeness to many pro offenses.

what happened, The Manhatter?  did we totally get outschemed in the 2nd half?  seemed like we got annihilated at the point of attack and in the pass protection game.  we couldn't protect our QB and Landry basically was having a picnic in the pocket on a beautiful fall day.

You're a big man.  I've never seen you one time make a strong opinion before a contest.  But you like to bite at the ankles afterward.
