olive bar is now full 100% olive/mediterranean  :pbj:

i we were to do a lunchtime with mcmw i would only have pictures of dillons salad bar/olive bar.

one bad thing about the salad bar is that the soups suck.

New Dillons in Topeka as well.  Where the old Venture used to be.  They have a sushi bar.  Also I thought the floors looked nice/pretty.
Sucks compared to the 29th and Urish Dillons. :fatty:

Popped into 29th/Urish Dillons today.  Congratulations Saul, it's an amazing place.

Dillons at 37th and Woodlawn is a thing of beauty.  The worlds best liquor store is in the area too.  "Goebel Wine and
Spirits / World of Beers"
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Wal-Mart tries to take down Dillon's and gets its ass kicked.

For those unfamiliar, these Wal-Mart Marketplaces in Wichita were all opened less than five years ago and they opened them all across the street from a Dillion's.

There is one in Topeka, I've never been to it, but it's no where near another grocery store.

I know of 2 in Omaha (I'm sure there are more) and they aren't close to any grocery stores either

I'm surprised they're closing the one at 13th and Oliver, the Dillons down the street  closed about a year ago, so that was really the only player in the area.  T&P to WSU TSC friends and the fresh food desert they now live in.

My understanding is that the Neighborhood Market thing was an experiment and they are now closing all of them.

Oh, I thought they were the same thing. Are the Express stores smaller that Neighborhood Markets?

express stores are like convenience store size and (for the most part) located in very rural areas. they were supposed to compete with dollar general
neighborhood markets are grocery store size and mostly urban areas

They're definitely not closing all of them, not even all of them in Wichita. It looks like the one on Seneca and 31st St. S is staying open.

Sonntag, is the Dillons on 13th and Woodlawn still open?

Yeah, I was confused between Express and Neighborhood Markets. They are closing all the Express stores.
