I hope bill doesn't give a crap about round numbers as much as I don't give a crap about round numbers

Here is a question for those who thing Bill is OCD/aspie enough to need that nice round 200 number:  What happens if he hits 201?

Stay close to home and embarrass your former team in Norman. Sounds perfect.

I just thought 203 would ensure a winning record next year if I did the math correctly.

He's at 193 right now.

Then I did the math correctly but started from the wrong point.  I'll still take 203.

Not wanting Trevor Knight, a dual threat QB who led OU to 11 wins and a sugar bowl win, is mind numbingly stupid

He is better than any qb on our roster by a mile.

You don't know that.

I don't want us to keep recruiting QBs, especially high school studs and then going to recruit jucos and 5th years over the top of their heads. If you're going to preach process, continually recruiting transfer quarterbacks does not help the guys you have nor does it help you with recruiting other stud high school quarterbacks; it's pretty much the opposite of process.

Of all people, K-State fans on this board should be the people least in this world that would be YOLO about this. Trevor Knight was trashed on this board last year, and I'm pretty sure ok_cat was the one with the most to say. Also how many freaking times do we hear those data points about Snyder and second year QBs in his system. My biggest frustration with Hubener at QB this year is we lost a year of development of all our other QBs in a rebuilding year.

I doubt I've ever posted anything about knight, but feel free to scan the trim3000 and let me know.

We know knight is good. We don't know anything about any of our qbs except that they are pillowy soft.

I wouldn't say being injury prone is the same as being "soft".

But bigger picture, I would like to see us actually use the little QB talent we manage we recruit.  If we get Knight, Delton would think pretty lowly of his talents if he didn't walk.

Yeah that's another thing I didn't mention, instead of losing one of our young QBs on the roster that it seems we're headed for that would seemingly grease the skids for another to go.

Good points. To get Knight, you are going to basically promise him a starting spot. Snyder has always preached competition and doing something like this would go against that in a pretty big way. Gregory was a different deal because he was trying to find anyone that could compete for a spot when he came back.

Delton and Thompson will be freshmen next year. I don't have a problem with them backing up a 5th year if it's a good one. Wasn't Golson yanked for Maguire at the tail-end of the season? If Knight isn't getting it done against Big 12 competition stick Delton in there.

Delton looked tiny out there against utsa or whoever he played against.  No way he stays healthy.

"Joe will be ready to go," said HC LHC Bill Snyder. "Cody Cook (is No. 2). If we go below that, it'll be me." Let's hope it doesn't get to that. Hubener suffered the injury over the weekend against West Virginia.

LHC Bill Snyder flew from NY to Memphis today, but he says he rode in on a motorcycle. The K-State coach is on a comedy roll.
