So, I hate wearing shoes and pretty much wear sandals at all times(other than work) until the snow or water comes up over the sides and necessitates me wearing shoes.
I also have somewhat flat feet and after like 30 yrs of that much sandal time, my feet started hurting me often. The keens have a great arch and can wear basically at all times again now without having to worry about falling arches or any of that other stuff.
Also, the bottom has legit tread. My old Nike or Adidas sandals turned into cartoony banana peels whenevs it would get wet outside. The Keens grip as good as tennis shoes.
Also, pretty cushy feeling without being too soft.
They are basically perfect.
No gloved-hand sandal beating required.

look heavy
If they have a down side, this would be it. Again, I am used to Nike and Adidas sandals, both of which are super light. My keens are probably 50% heavier, and that felt weird for the first few times I wore them, but don't notice it much after that.
