That makes no sense at all.  When did it close?

i went to k-state from '02 to '07.  it wasn't there in '02, that's 9 years ago.   :shy:
No, it was. It was on Poyntz and wasn't great. Just cheap. Probably why you never went there.

kk on poyntz? my god man.  :flush: :flush:
I just remembered it as 17th and Poyntz. Once I saw the Yuma reference I figured I was remembering wrong.

I'm with ya jt.  I graduated in '01 and just found out it closed last year. :frown:  It burned down IIRC.  Anyway, lots of greasy burgers that cured lots of hangovers at that place while I was in school.  :drink:

My buddy that graduated in '02 and moved out of state came back to town for the Baylor game and wanted to hit it up on Sunday morning before we drove back home.  I had to break the news to him. He didn't take it very well.

Then I didn't RC, or was lied to.

Whatever, we're getting away from the topic.  We have a new Sooner friend guest on the board and we need to make him feel at home.  Welcome, friend.  :D

Guess Ricky D is still a little bit butthurt about it's closing.  I could really care less, pretty sure I only went there once and that was because a buddy asked me to pick it up on the way over.  Kind of a shitty little place, IIRC.

It did have a fire when I was in school there and closed for a period of time.  It was there at some point in time in the 00's.  Haven't seen anyone confirm or deny it's a hotel now.

Why don't you go down to that corner and snap some pictures for us, then head over to the register of deeds tomorrow and settle this.

TIA,

We had a Burrito King at one point? If true it is an absolute travesty that we do not anymore. Love Burrito King. Beats the hell out of Pita Pit or Jimmy Johns for drunk food.
