They should just arm the cops with rubber bullets and have them try to shoot the lions until they get so pissed off they just run into cages. Or the lions eat the cops, whichever comes first.

Modern life has become too predictable and safe.  Just let them roam around and start taking care of the weak.

I have been thinking about this for a while and have decided that I support this. I would be so much more alert and focused if I had to make sure I didn't get eaten by a lion during my morning Starbucks run.

Has anyone ever hunted deer?  It seems like the big ones always wake up and walk straight into the wind so they can smell any dangers ahead of them.  Imagine if the only direction you could move was up-wind.  Man.  "Hey Sherry, this is Emo EMAW, I can't come into work today because of the southerly wind.  I'll just telecommute.  With all the jungle cats between here and town, I'd just rather play it safe."

We live in the midwest.  not only do a whole bunch of midwesterner's have no idea what the eff telecommuting is, but most would see this as an excellent way of pushing through laws that would allow everyone to carry large guns everywhere they go.  Most rednecks are prob wishing that this would happen in KS.  They want to carry everywhere they go, and they would love a chance to have a full body mount of a male lion in their trailer living room.
