Favorite food-place west of Dennison: Little Apple Brewery.

Oh man, Mr. K's, yes.

Little Apple Brewery?  What was I thinking?   :embarrassed:

It is a good steak and salad bar.  The beer is decent.  No shame in that.

Smothered burrito is just the most absurd bar and grill menu item in Manhattan.

Always check the specials list.  When the specials are good, easily #1 west of Denison in my book

I pretty much  go with the flow when it comes to local establishments. It's hard for me not to like them. But if you idiots can't accept that So Long Saloon is the best burger in town, then get the hell out of here.
So overrated.  So, so, so overrated.

I'll tell you what's overrated. Big D's. "Hey look everyone, it's so big!! And look at all these fries!!! It's so much food for only $10!! zOMG!!"

Doesn't make it good.

Come on stevesie, Big Ds is good.

So Long is also good.

And really, two different types of burgers; small town/greesy spoonish vs gourmet/bar foodish. Difference is slight, but there is a difference.

Regardless, both good.

JMHO.

Wow. Good Call _FAN. It was damn good, but not sure i could eat there more than once a month.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

if i counted specials, then kites would be my #1 place in aggieville on wednesdays between 6-9 and having them as my favorite for anything is just ridiculous. i vote that we don't count specials when factoring in. deal?

Prob not the best but Grizzly's has great fried chicken, better than the CF Steak (which is also good) if you ask me.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Well crap.  They were never busy when I went in there makes sense.  Good food though.

Is Mr. K's a high class Kites spinoff? I remember there was a sign there forever saying "Future Home of KITES" then it never was.

Best burger I've ever had.

**NOT IN MANHATTAN**

these rubes have spent the day arguing over Big D's, Tubby's, So Long, and Kites.  LOL @ you dropping Justus on them.
You think I needed to work my way up to it?  Maybe started with something almost as shitty as any of those places.  Like Hardees or something?

ya Hardee's or maybe Jack in the Box, since it's equally as terrible.

I'm not really in to Cozy Inn burgers at all, but I think this is the right place to rep their homemade chips. Their homemade cozy chips are amazing and the sole reason I would go there. The burgers are like a condiment for the chips.

Also I understand the original one doesnt make chips and just sells doritos and crap. lame.

'K' who runs that place was GM of Kite's for like 7 years up until around 2009.
