Interesting to note that Baylor (2), Miami (9), and Missouri (14) are all in the Top 15 for yards per play.
Miami averaged 7.1 Yards Per play (+0.3), Baylor averaged 6.9 (-0.9), and Missouri averaged 4.9 (-1.7).
So, at least in conference play, we're forcing really good offenses approximately one yard less per play than average (or more).
As a side note, on Miami, the first two games of the year against Maryland and OSU, they were down a lot of players due to the suspensions. Since they got nearly everyone back, they've averaged 7.1 yards per play against KSU, 7.6 yards per play against Bethune-Cookman, and 8.7 yards per play against VT. So, if you take the first two games out and factor in the last three games for them, they average 7.8 yards per play, so we would have them (-0.7) as well.
