You first.
1- 1985, 1980, and 1991 were probably the best. 1985 was a 9-3 team with single score losses to Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas all on the road and dominated LSU in their bowl.
2- A&M, TCU, Tech, SMU, rest of the SWC. Texas does not count as they are everyone's game.
3- It's between RG3 and 1960s QB Don Trull. RG3 will have spot #1 when he moves on.
4- Walter Abercrombie is clearly #1. Elite talent. Old timer pick is Ronnie Bull.
5- 1974 Miracle on the Brazos was a completely out of left field upset of UT and ushered in Grant Teaff's success at Baylor. There had been talk of how private schools couldn't compete anymore and this was the first of many big wins en route to an SWC title and a clear #3 standing in-league until the SWC died. Teaff's most important win.
6- I wish people knew 2 things about Baylor, the SWC, and the Big 12.
a- That Baylor was the #3 program behind only UT and A&M in the last 15-16 years of the SWC and that we were better than Tech.
b- That Baylor never pushed anyone out of a Big 12 bid (it was 10 teams til BU and Tech crashed the party politically) and that despite Politics playing a big role, Ann Richards did nothing and that Bob Bullock (and a few others) worked for BOTH Tech and Baylor.
