One more appeal left.  I think she's guilty, but that's just my sense from a quick look at the evidence 'n stuff.

In reality, she was probably an accessory to the murder at the least, but there's often a big difference between what probably happened and what can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt (or whatever standard Italy uses) in a court of law.

What specifically did she lie about?  I watched the Dateline or 20/20 or 60 Minutes deal and it seemed they were determined to stick it to the pretty American girl.

What specifically did she lie about?  I watched the Dateline or 20/20 or 60 Minutes deal and it seemed they were determined to stick it to the pretty American girl.

I think the worst of it is Amanda giving a "vision" of events occurring where her boss Patrick Lumumba murdered her roommate while she covered her ears in her kitchen to block out the girl's screaming.  She signed this as a "confession," though later said: "In regards to this 'confession' that I made last night, I want to make it clear that I'm very doubtful of the verity of my statements because they were made under the pressures of stress, shock and extreme exhaustion."

After Patrick Lumumba was arrested and locked up, it turned out he had an alibi.  So, I think she's pretty sketchy.  And I know there's more stuff that points to her guilt, so I happen to think she's guilty.  Occam's Razor.  Although I couldn't say if it meets the standard to convict.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Meredith_Kercher

seems like all the physical evidence points to Rudy as the guilty party.  That said, there doesn't seem to be a very clear motive for any of the suspects.
