I think I may have under appreciated AB, and I appreciated him a ton.  Just look at this play:

How many games over the last couple of years would we have lost without Arthur?  A lot of those close 2011 wins would have turned into losses (Baylor would have been a blowout) and some of the games we won comfortably in 2012 would have turned into coin-toss shootouts.  The ass-kickings would not have been as thorough and less satisfying due to closer scores.

Just re-watched the '11 Baylor game. He was literally everywhere in that game. Not only at the end when it counted but single handed stopped the Baylor running game all together.

Only going to compare LBs here, but I'd take Pierce, Simoneau, or Buhl over AB all day long. AB is probably most comparable to Buhl. Both guys just flew around the football. AB had what, 200 tackles in 2 years? Buhl had 180+ in one season. The man could play.
