Who was the last college player to make you think that?

Well, as freshmen, Iverson, Marbury, and Kidd come to mind first since I paid more attention back then.  All considerably better than Wall.  Yet, it's somehow a foregone conclusion thay Wall will be the #1 overall pick?  I don't get it.
