Well (High Football Defense IQ Thread)
« on: September 17, 2011, 10:03:53 PM »
Who else loves to just watch Arthur fly around?  I mean, I usually just watch whoever has the ball but I am now watching Arthur when we are on D (<-- defense).  Man, he is good.

Most fun Defensive player to watch since Buhl.

I also heard on the broadcast tonight that he is a transfer from Miami and we play said team next Saturday.  That should be interesting.

He got knocked backwards about 3 yards every time he solo tackled that monster, but other than that he was awesome.  Amazing speed.

I can honestly say.... even though we've played nothing but crap offenses so far; I never in a million years would have expected this d to look so good.   THANK YOU ARTHUR!!!

As a connoisseur, I watch Tre Walker.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

You have to admit, shutting out the 119th ranked offense (that's next to last for those keeping score at home) in the country is pretty effing big time.

Kent State had 186 yards of total offense against Louisiana-Lafayette.

In other words . . . they suck.

Yeah, their "break out" game was against . . . K-State.

Most yards they've gained all year.
