You dorks. After we dismantle Kent, and then beat Miami to a pulp. We will probably be favored over Ken Starr's suing Bears. After that win we might not be favored over Mizzou, but the next two will be cakewalk favoritism. OU is the first game we def. won't be favored ('cept maybe Miami, which we will win).
Cats start out 5-2 at worst. Prob 6-1 or 7-0.

I still think we win at least seven games.
People are too doom and gloom over one game. This is just how Snyder's teams operate. We'll go out there and beat Kent like 49-7, everyone will be all EMAW about it, and then we'll go down to Miami and be pretty competitive.
We beat UMass 21-17 a couple of years ago, lost to UL-L, and we ended up one game from winning the North in 2009. This is just how it goes.
You turn the ball over five times, and what we saw last week is what's going to happen. I mean, even though it was EKU, they still only gave up 0.37 yards a rush. That's reason for optimism. If you take away a couple of really nice/lucky grabs by EKU on offense, they would have had around 80 total yards with about 1.5 yards a play. That's pretty solid no matter who you're playing.
After watching the game, KSU's main problem was the offensive line. Klein was fine. The receivers are really good. The running backs are good. All of the skill positions are fine. The OL just needs to get stuff straightened out, and we'll be fine. No matter what you or I may think about him, there's no way a LHC Bill Snyder offense will look that bad for an entire year. It's just not possible.
If anything, I'm probably more optimistic about the defense after the first game than I am down about the offense. I was not expecting that at all.
