It was great and I am in great bike shape from biking all summer so my muscles/taint were not sore, but my knees were starting to hurt after about 85. Unreal gorgeous day though

Social distance camping at hillsdale lake over the weekend, 100mi round trip.
Got some new salsa cow chippers installed last week, highly recommend!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Joined the century club on saturday

This is two years in a row I've done a huge ride and missed the qh@z beating OU!

This was my first ever gravel race. Fun course but it was extremely hot and windy on Saturday

That looks like fun, I haven't done the gravel stuff before.  I need to get back into riding in general.

That's some serious pace on gravel. Nice work.

Awesome work Mo.

Also, this thread makes me so sad.  I used to be such a badboy on a bike.  I probably couldn’t even ride around the block currently without dying.

I started with great intentions this summer. Fizzled in mid July and August with ye olde covid19 layup. Might end up with a decent October and November if the weather holds. I don't ride below 45f.

That's Garmin Connect. My watches synchs with the app. App doesn't record in its own.

Didn't you follow me on Strava a couple of years ago? You had some epic rides around Dallas.

Pretty sure I still do follow you.  “Quick Spin” with a green snake on your last ride?  My last log was Dec ‘19, a 1 hour trainer ride...

And yes, I logged epic rides in and around Dallas, Texas Hill Country, Estes Park, Ojai, CA.  I’m gonna go cry now.

For real though, as soon as I can finish my current house project, I am going to get back in the saddle.

As I've let many kind drivers I know, go a different route if you don't like looking at my spandex ass.

Also, fall weather is the best riding weather.

Did you find any? I'd suggest shopping Amazon and using their liberal return policies if necessary.

I have two pairs of the five ten sleuth dlx and they are pretty great. Made a huge difference over vans. Great grip and they don't bend around the pedals.

×××the plan keeps coming up again×××

@IPA4Me
Could use some of that fall weather. My goodness. Gnats were thick as thieves on today's ride.

Awesome kid, MIR.  Are you going to start running with her and then join the distance running thread?

crap, I wish, my running days are over, I loved cross country, it was my favorite high school sport. @IPA4Me would be happy to know that I am riding my bike with her when she runs in the neighborhood.
Solid. Glad to hear. Have your riding pains improved/rescinded?

Not really, I just deal with it. I'm going to buy a stand up bike if I don't get one for Christmas.

Starting to spin the pedals now that it's over 60F in the afternoon. Looking forward to some longer rides soon!

Hope to go over to Council Grove to the rail trail again before it gets too hot here. From Council Grove to Allen is a nice 42 mile round trip through the Flint Hills.

@mocat, Unless you have bushhog mounted to the front of your bike, I'm pretty sure you can't ride between Herington and Council Grove yet - the trail is overgrown and full of trash. I don't think you can ride west of Council Grove. Hopefully this changes soon because it would bring a trailhead much closer to me. Would be awesome to have gE ride sometime.
