Maybe not the right thread, but our leadership is so rough ridin' worried about not being able to keep a close eye on everything that we are spending 1-2 hours a day for planning and update meetings.

I started a new job on the 16th and I was worried the entire week leading up to it that they might rescind it.

Had a job interview today on zoom.  Kids were upstairs and we were in the last 15 mins of said interview.  One of their tablets went dead and they decided to unplug my wifi router so they could plug in their tablet...  I know one of my interviewers and sent her a text telling her what happened.  Once i got back in to the interview everyone was laughing hysterically.  Can only help my chances right?

Yeah, if they were stuffy after that happened I'm pretty sure I would have ended the interview myself.  This was interview 2, so I had already met 3 of the 7 on the panel. (And 1 I've known for a decade)]

Got the job.  Start in 3 weeks.  It was actually really hard to step down from my current job.
